Activating Medicine of the East
~ Find a comfortable space, spend at least an hour there and practice forgetting the names of things, and whatever you are looking at try and forget the names of them. Practice Not Naming or Forgetting the Names of what you see. Allow your senses and imagination to be activated and fluid rather than fixed.
Sunrise Ritual

Kedar S. Brown 🌹
Kedar S. Brown is the founder and director of Rites of Passage Council, an organization offering deep nature ceremonial encampments around the world. He is an internationally known ceremonialist, healer, intuitive, and teacher of psychological & spiritual awareness with over 40 years of professional experience. Over this time, Kedar has developed an effective and unique approach to emotional and spiritual healing by braiding together his depth of clinical knowledge of experiential psychotherapies with more nature-based, indigenous wisdom teachings and healing methods from around the world.
In 1994, Kedar apprenticed with Steven Foster and Meredith Little at the School of Lost Boarders in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the form & process of the vision quest ceremony and eco-psychology. He has also apprenticed for many years with Malidoma Some´, Ph.D., initiated elder, and shaman of the Dagara tribe of Burkina Faso, West Africa.
Kedar has also had the honor & privilege to learn many valuable insights into healing from his apprenticeship with Cherokee elder and medicine person, Will Rockingbear. Kedar’s trainings and retreats are offered internationally.
